Cryocad supported the design of a complete water testing facility, providing the full piping layout for multiple test stations and stages. The system was realized in PVC piping, enabling a variety of water parameters to be tested under controlled conditions.
As part of the assignment, Cryocad also designed a dedicated fatigue skid, used to expose components to stress and wear in long-term endurance testing. This modular skid was developed as a compact, fully integrated unit, with careful attention to component arrangement, accessibility, and durability. It incorporated four stainless steel water tanks and multiple piping systems, including CPVC, copper tubing with brass fittings, push-to-connect systems, PEX tubing, and hose connections allowing for realistic endurance testing.
Deliverables included detailed 3D models, general arrangement drawings, and bills of materials, supporting the smooth fabrication and installation of both the facility and the skid.
