To date, Cryocad has designed multiple Tank Connection Spaces of different sizes for LNG-powered ships.
In this particular project, the TCS featured two separate compartments, each equipped with a complete fuel gas supply system. The scope of work included the full design package: 3D design of the TCS, detailed arrangement of all components, piping layout, and verification of accessibility for safe operation and maintenance within a very compact space. Special attention was given to cryogenic conditions, with stress considerations integrated to optimize piping layouts and ensure long-term reliability under low-temperature operations. The assignment also involved construction support, assisting the client during fabrication and installation.
Deliverables included detailed 3D models, general arrangement drawings, piping isometrics, and bills of materials ensuring accuracy, consistency, and a smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
